Your giu giu pieces are all made with love, carefully knitted in a family–run factory in Hong Kong & China, with yarns sourced from Italy & Japan.
All hand–finishing and magic touches are completed locally in our studio in Venice, California.
We are mindful of every hand that touches your pieces. These precious garments are meant to last lifetimes, as you build beautiful memories with them.
What is your return/exchange policy during Covid-19?
We now have a temporary no-return policy for any item bought during this time.
When will I receive my order?
Due to the pandemic our studio is operating minimally. GIU GIU House is closed to the public, but we are making a concerted effort to ship online orders once a week. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Can I hem or alter any of the NONNA pieces?
Unfortunately, our knits are fully-fashioned, and knitted to shape, so there is no sewing or waste involved. If your garment is cut, the yarn will unravel with time.
Please note that many of our pieces are made-to-order. In stock items will ship within 3—5 business days of the order date. Made-to-order items (noted on the product page) will ship within 3 weeks of the order date.

All shipping (domestic & international) will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. A shipping confirmation with tracking will be sent after the order is processed.
We are not responsible for items lost, damaged or stolen in the mail.
If you have placed an order shipping to a destination outside the US, tax, customs and import duties will be levied by the client's local government on top of our shipping cost. All additional taxes and fees are the responsibility of the customer. This can range from 20% to 40% of the order value. Items will be shipping from Los Angeles, California (United States), with an official invoice declaring the exact total of merchandise purchased in US Dollars.
Many of our pieces are made-to-order — please consider this when you make your purchase. Any full-price, unworn and unwashed items may be returned for refund or exchange within 7 days of receiving your order. Purchases made using a discount code or store credit are non-refundable. Garments from our intimates & swimwear are non-refundable. All sale items are final sale.
Please contact us prior to returning or exchanging items.
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We are not liable for any lost or stolen merchandise incurred during return shipping and we therefore recommend providing tracking information with your shipment.
Your account will be credited your refund or any difference in your exchange within 5—7 business days of receipt, less shipping charges. Please note that it may take up to an additional 10 days for the refund to show up on your account statement, depending on your credit issuer's processing time.
We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not comply with the conditions stated above.
